At some point during the last couple of months, Mya became obsessed with reading. As soon as she wakes up from her nap, she'll climb off the bed, grab a couple books and read for a half hour or so. She is always wanting me to read to her, and now she thinks she has the right to read books before she goes to sleep too.
My personal favorite is to hear her reading to herself over the monitor. It is the best! She'll sometimes "read" the words that she remembers but other times she'll make up a whole new story. It is pretty dang cute. I hope all my kids catch the reading bug like she has!
