Just before this cute baby was born,
we had a pretty fun filled December. Instead of a full re-cap we'll do the quick-ish version with lots of pictures.
Lights at Temple Square
Meeting Daddy at City Creek before going to see the lights.
Not sure why we take the stroller anywhere since she insists on pushing instead of riding.
Got there at the perfect time - just as it started to get dark.
It was the first time I've been to see the lights when I didn't feel like I was in the middle of a mosh pit.
We found Phil Robertson at temple square!
Loved this fun night with our little fam.
Playing in the Snow
This purple little marshmallow cracks me up every time she gets all dolled up in her snow gear.
This bench is now completely buried in snow.
Can't get enough of her car, even when it's 5 degrees outside.
Christmas in California
We had such a fun Christmas again this year!
Road tripped out to California.
Had a blast spending time with some of our favorite people.
Enjoyed two awesome days at a beautiful beach house in Bodega Bay.
It rained most of the time we were there, but the sun came out just enough to give us some fun time at the beach.
And the views of the storm over the ocean were unbelievable from the huge windows at the beach house.
It was such an awesome treat from Dunc's parents.
Back at the old homestead, a little appearance from Mary, Joseph, and the Angel
plus a quick visit to see Santa at the Jelly Belly factory got the holiday off to a great start.
Later that night while the princess slept soundly in her air mattress St. Nick made the perfect drop off.
It was so fun to see Mya get excited about opening presents this year!
We woke up way too early to do our own thing upstairs
before joining the gang to see the rest of Santa's loot.
I think it's safe to say that everyone there was totally spoiled.
Kids at Christmas definitely makes the whole thing a little bit more fun and exciting.
(Ginny showing off the hat I made for her.)
While Mya had an awesome time, she was definitely sleep deprived and threw more than a few temper tantrums Christmas morning.
And may have been forced to endure a time out or two in mom's arms before the morning was over. (Look at that big belly!)
But overall I would say this Christmas was a definite success in her eyes.
Huge thanks to Shawn and Greg for being such awesome hosts and to these people (plus Loren and Jill) for making it so fun! We loved being with all of you!
And last but not least, I had to throw in a picture of our Christmas lights. Driving in to my own house and seeing it all lit up was a dream come true! Thanks husby, dad, and J for making it happen. You guys are awesome!
