Dinner with Daddy

We HATE busy season!  Dunc has been working crazy hours and we basically never see him these days.  You may think I'm exaggerating, but last week Mya went from Tuesday night to Saturday morning without seeing Duncan at all.  On Friday while Mya and I were eating dinner, she kept hearing our neighbors door opening and thinking it was Dunc.  She would get so excited and start waving like crazy.  It was so cute, but so sad.

A few days ago we got  sick of never seeing him and decided to swing by and pick him up for dinner.  When Duncan works late he gets an allowance for dinner, so we made it a high rolling night and stopped by none other than . . .Pizza Hut.

It was so great to be able to spend some time actually talking to him even though it was only for an hour.  And Mya loved playing with her Daddy.

Aren't they the cutest little pair?  I love that she barely comes up to his knee.

Mya recently figured out the whole pointing thing and is constantly pointing at everything.  Her favorite things so far are ceiling fans, lights, and vents.

As you can see from those stuffed cheeks, Mya loves pizza almost as much as her daddy.  I love how chubby her face looks in this picture.

It was a great little outing, but we're definitely looking forward to getting Dunc back sometime in the near future!
