Rice Cereal and Cougar B-ball

Today was a big day.  First, Mya had her first solid food (if you don't count the tiny bit of mashed banana I gave her in the car when we were stuck in Vegas traffic), and then the Cougars made it past the first round of the NCAA tournament for the second year in a row!

I'm pretty sure Mya loved the cereal.  She just didn't like how long the whole process took.

This was her before we started.

She knew just how she was supposed to open her mouth.

And I think she loved feeling like a big girl.  Can you see the smile in her eyes?

While the smile wasn't on her face by the end of the whole experience, she was content enough to convince us to try again tomorrow.

After that fun we had a bunch of accounting friends and their families over to watch the BYU game.  It was fun to get everybody together two and a half years after we all met.  It's crazy how much things have changed for us in such a short time!  One marriage and three babies later, everybody is finishing up school and getting ready to start careers.  It's an exciting time, but we are getting sad to move away from all of our great friends!

I like how she has a mouth full of rice cereal in the last picture. She's growing up so fast! I love her. She's so stinkin' cute!!!

Glad to see you are bringing up Mya in truth and light as a BYU Cougar fan! She's such a cutie. I love her pucker lips as she's eating. Adorable.

Mya looks wonderful. It's been too long since we've seen her. She is growing up so fast. She is such a doll!
